Yup. I think he may also be the type who doesn't like confrontation, just wants everybody to be happy. So he acted like things were a-ok and he'd be happy to be back, when in reality it seems like he already knew he was gone. I get it, but that's still not how you handle that situation. I still like Tkachuk, he handled a tough situation properly at least.
Sucks how it all ended up with Johnny's legacy here, but it is what it is, and he frankly made a mess of it himself...even though I really don't think that was his intent. It's pro sports, dude gonna get booed.
