Its all Russian now. All remaining Germans were forcefully relocated by the Soviet Union to East Germany post-WWII and its 95% Russian and Belorussian population now. Germany and the EU would not want it back at this point cuz there would need to be a mass deportation of Russians or a mass change of citizenship for the entire city of Russians, neither of which would be palatable.
On another note RCMP reporting last night, Molotovs were thrown at the Russian embassy in Ottawa. You know you F-ed up when Canadians start tossing molotovs at your embassy.
