I get it, we can all line-up 10+ hours before the sale if we want to be first in line, but again, that's not my point. It's the greed and entitlement of these individuals that I'm getting at. Are your hard earned dollars worth more than mine or the next guys? We all spend a good chunk of money on this team as season ticket holders, with very little additional benefit for doing so, yet those 10-15 people ruin it for the rest of us. Our entire world is consumed by greed, it'd just be nice to see some common decency at events like this for once.
But on the flip side... is your time worth more than his? If it's important to you then you'd go early too. The comment you made here also sounds a bit like entitlement too.

There's plenty of different types that go to these sales. I've seen flippers (one dude posted $300 Gaudreau gloves on Kijiji for $1500 10 mins after the doors opener. There's collectors like Brett. And Some people go early to buy things to use when they play. Maybe not so much anymore but they used to sell brand new sticks for $75. So stocking up at the sale was a way to make the game more affordable for people.

Brett has a huge collection. Him and his family love collecting. They dont purchase it for re-sell at huge markups. They just like collecting it. They literally collect it so much I remember a story when ( I think it) was Cammy came back to the Flames he reached out to Brett's dad to use some of his old gloves/sticks. I think it's unfair to paint every one who stocks up on things in the same light.

Speaking of common decency and kindness I would like to point out that Brett has helped me out many times with stuff I wanted or when I couldn't camp out. He has always charged me what he paid for it.
