The top 6 defencemen on the Flames' depth chart right now, and the points they scored last season:
Andersson, 50
Hanifin, 48
Weegar, 44
Kylington, 31
Tanev, 28
Zadorov, 22
Which one of those players do you move to make room for Hague?

First of all, 32 points in 75 AHL games is quite impressive for a defenseman who is 20 years old, considering most D-men are still in junior. It's more impressive for a player of that size and skating ability. Rasmus Andersson had 22 pts in 54 games (0.41 ppg), and Kylington had 27 pts in 60 games (0.45 ppg). Hague had 0.43 ppg. Doesn't matter anyway, because different players develop in different ways, especially when they have different skillsets.
Who would I trade to make room for Hague? Most likely anyone not named Tanev, Andersson, or Weegar. I would also consider moving Hanifin. Not sure what VGK would want for Hague, but they likely wouldn't trade with us anyway, nor would they want any of our D, so it's moot anyway.
