My wife and I learned to curl last winter and played in a short spring league.

This year, we went looking for a rec. curling league and found it incredibly difficult to find enough information to make a decision on where to play. For club leagues, it was hard to gauge if the leagues would be appropriate for rookies. For associate leagues... well, those were all over the map.


I have come to the CalgaryPuck hive mind with two questions:

1) Do you have any recommendations for recreational/rookie leagues? Location doesn't really matter

2) Do you know of any drop in curling options? (aside from Huntington Hills on Sundays, that's the only one I've found)


We ended up joining a CSSC league for the fall, but I'd like to have some better options for the winter and/or next year.
