A lot more than a power supply got destroyed with that attack based on the videos I saw.
Also Ukraine isn't allowed to target Russia proper with HIMARS (Crimea excluded of course). One of the main conditions in getting them. HIMARS are the Russian boogyman right now, but they would not have been used.
RT is a Russian propaganda site meant for western Russian consumption and banned in many countries since the war started.
That's why i asked the source, because there's one reality, and then the one that Russia tries to present. Russia also reported just one death when Ukraine hit the Saky base in Crimea (or as Russian stated a friendly fire incident), while there were videos which showed barracks hit and obvious some missed charred bodies that weren't hidden from camera view.
The reported launch site is within 5 km of Valuyki and Valuyki is 18 km from the Ukrainian border. The missiles also hit houses and different miscellaneous targets.
It's either a false flag, or much more likely a Russian MLRS malfunction. Could also be retaliation for the dam attack and a show of force that Russian cities are in Ukrainian range (which they most definitely are in range of now with the Kharkiv oblast 'strategic withdrawal'). There's also some odd twitter posts of the Kursk People's Republic taking responsibility. Nothing official on it and Ukraine hasn't commented on smoking hazards.
