Yeah, my daughter drives so getting around isn't a big deal. I was just hoping for something more authentic and less corporate. Lazy Loaf and Weeds were my examples. In the 90s there were a bunch we'd go to, though. Viscious Circle, Roasterie, and a cool one that was in an old house kind of by Smiling Buddha, I think.
Felt like the North had ton, but I haven't seen anything really in the south, so I was hoping for a hidden gem somewhere a la Weeds.
