I personally find Trudeau and Poilievre to both be unlikable characters.

I know many find Poilievre to be terrible and can't see him winning over most Canadians, but I think he'll have a major advantage in the next federal election. That being, we likely aren't going to see an election called until closer to 2025. By that point, the Liberals will have been in power for a decade. That is a relatively long time in Canadian politics, and it stands to reason that the Conservatives might win the next election. Not because Poilievre is amazing, but because the country is ready for change. Trudeau and the Liberals will have run their course and Canadians might be ready for a different perspective.
