A friend of mine has one of those and loves it. They have an suv though, so easier to pack gear. They did a 3 week trip across a couple provinces and had a great time. I guess it I would be way easier and more efficient than pulling a trailer.
My friends were not really camping though, more visiting and sightseeing and always had a bed. They like it because they were off the ground, away from critters.
It’s not for me, and even if it was I wouldn’t put it on my sports car.
