My MIL is threatening to come see us at Christmas so the only option is to plan a trip. Hopefully somewhere warm.

It would be myself, the wife and our two boys (9 and 12). I took a quick look at Hawaii but I think that will be cost prohibitive and Disney is out due to how busy it is at Christmas time.

I have never travelled at Christmas before so I am engaging the CP brain trust. Where should we go? How is Phoenix? Palm Springs? Some sort of all inclusive in Mexico/The Caribbean?

Please help me.
