I'm debating the logic that landed on choosing that path.
You trade three straight years of first round picks to grab a window, and then move your own two a year before you have to?
That's my question. Doesn't make any sense to me.
Little doubt that Tkachuk will have a better shelf life when this window is closed, but this up coming season, right smack dab in the middle of their window, was better served not making this trade. And even better served by adding Tkachuk, keeping their own rentals and trading futures instead.
