Well the Flames had no choice...for this to be a good deal for Florida they will need to have a run with Tkachuk being a major contributor in the next few years.
They gave up bringing the presidents cup Champs back for another go. Sure they lost in round two but so did the Avs 3 times to lesser opponents.
