Well I drank 8 litres of water and pissed once all day roofing on Saturday. We worked for an hour and took 30 minutes in the shade, from about noon on, and one of the guys does framing and roof sheathing all day, and he found it way too hot to, so, uh, sure.
Some people just aren't built well for the heat. I grew up in Canmore, so am much happier in cooler temperatures. I'm not sure why it's controversial.
It's just not fun to go out for a bike ride and have loads of sweat dripping down your face. I'd prefer it cooler.
