In defense of those who found it too warm for a stretch this summer I would agree.

Just as you've described 81MC, I do work outside all day everyday and it just isn't a blast to be sweating through your sunscreen all day.

I can see it for folks who work indoors all week and enjoy getting out on hikes for a morning/afternoon or campers for the weekend that this summer was a treat, especially without the blanket of smoke we've been known to get.

But the roofers and concrete workers you describe wouldn't choose 30+ days if they could. I've found for the most part outdoor workers vs. indoor workers feel different about periods of very warm weather. In my own opinion anyways.
