I just can't believe he's putting his foot in his mouth again after that last statement that hasn't aged well.... First issue with the current statement, isn't every NHL team chasing it (that special playoff winning sauce I suspect he means)... but didn't Edmonton lose against Colorado, so why wouldn't we copy their (Colorado) special sauce instead since it seems better. Next... since we're in the same division, won't we almost always have to go through Edmonton **if** we both win our first round series or we meet in the first round (wild cards could create a cross over that might prevent us from meeting even if we both win our opening series) - so that part is just stating the obvious to somehow put Calgary down. Thirdly, we are a vastly different team from last year, what makes you think will perform at the same level as last year, we may do better in the playoffs next year with our new tools (I think we will), but we could be worse, and so too can Edmonton.
These blanket statements are just a fan hoping his team is better then our team, it doesn't belong in the article.
