The only time I ever had a great time attending an opera was in Montreal. There was a famous tenor who people were excited to see, but the guy lost his voice a few minutes in. And thereafter, every time the poor guy tried to croak out a tune, boos rained down on him and drowned out his broken voice. For three hours, little old ladies in mink coats, guys with bowties, and assorted other tweedy professor-types booed the living hell out of this tenor. I loved that opera.
Anyway, booing is supposed to be fun. It'll be fun to boo Gaudreau. He's a villain now.
