The court intrigue has been good, and I'm really buying the King's confusion and need to please everyone. Rhaenyra is such a good young actor.

Pardon the pun, but I think crab-man was really just a
stepping stone to the real conflict this show will eventually be centered around (members of house Targaryen who consider themselves rightful heirs to the throne).
The cutting guys down made sense since it's to show us how Daemon is a force to be reckoned with. The dodging of a multitude of arrows being part of their plan, and then him bouncing back after being hit was a little silly though, sure.
