I caddied for a Swede two years in a row. One at Sirocco and one at GlenEagles. He actually asked me to go to Springfield with him for a KFT event, but he couldn't pay and I couldn't get off work. He MC'd so was probably a good thing in hindsight.
It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I got paid in ProV1s. Some of the guys we got paired with ended up on Tour, one of them is on LIV, he was actually leading for a bit this week.
The most surprising thing to me was how crazily supportive they were of and for each other before and after the rounds. During the rounds they mostly kept to themselves and did their thing.
I'd strongly recommend volunteering if you have the chance. Only caveat is it's a large time commitment, easily 8+ hours a day on Thursday and Friday. The weekend rounds are much, much faster.
