Haffin as a trade chip???
His skating style may be smooth like Bouwmeester but he's not nearly as fast. (Kjillington can get back and cover like Bouwmeester!).
Regardless of whether he'll win a Norris, he and Anderson were clearly ranked top 3 in the league as a pairing all season long. Weegar may well turn out to be top pair how ever with 32 teams and 192 D pairings when your guys were ranked 3rd and played that well and you want to trade them just because we may well with Weegar and Tanev have 2 legit top pairs?
I won't trade Haffin and doubt he's in Sutters dog house but who knows. At least until not until much later in the season when we've seen Weegar and seen what injuries are happening.
