The Miller signing (or trading) had to be accomplished before other dominos could fall. They now have a wealth of top nine forwards and can afford to see how things shake out in camp to decide who they want/can move out. They could move a player(s) for picks/prospects to create cap space and then seek out defensive help or look for a good old fashioned hockey trade straight up. I predict a fair bit of movement in the next couple months...maybe it's good that they're leasing not buying?

They have the 4th or 5th best group of top nine forwards in the Pacific division. The lineup is likely long to grab Jason Dickson for a top 4 dman.
