17 of those points game in a 5 games series against the Flames. So he got 15 points in 11 games beyond that series. Playing half the game and ALL the powerplay minutes. Not to mention not being able to generate much of anything on his own. I don't buy this one leg garbage Oiler fans and state/Oiler controlled media are trying to push.
I'd take Matthews or Makar over him any day of the week. Fact is, he's a 70-80 point player on his own.
Edit - I'm only using the only system of player comparison Oiler fans know (points) because you did. Most people that know anything about hockey know that there's a lot more than points that go into the "best" player (s) in the world award.
