I have found this interesting all summer. At least since the Gaudreau/Tkachuk PR disaster.
The Flames have done a good job of making players old and new feel important and empowered. Treliving calls up Markstrom before the Huberdeau trade. Both Huberdeau and Kadri give glowing reviews on the team making them feel special. It's more than the money.
Is this the way to make a group come together the way it needs to for a special Cup run?
