Barkov is a quality player and will help Tkachuk. Tkachuk had a career year at 24. In the right situation he can do it again. That doesn’t mean he is a consistent 100 pt player. He hasn’t proved that yet.

But isn't this the crux of the argument though? Barkov missed a bunch of games, and Huberdeau didn't? You cannot say Barkov could've outscored or out point Huberdeau if hey had stayed healthy. Because he didn't play those games, you don't know if he could've scored those points. It's like the Oilers fans saying if they had gotten past the Avs, they would've beaten the Bolts and bring the SC back to Canada.
