Maybe I was reading too quick and misunderstood what you were claiming then. Originally it seemed you were defending older goalies only and wanted them to have superior equipment to make a true comparison to todays goalies.
To which me and EnochNoot pointed out that that isn't fair unless you have everything from todays game, otherwise you would no longer be able to claim that the goalies of yesterday would fare better in historic goaltender rankings.
I just noticed you're now just arguing for the sake of all older players, not just goalies being better if they had todays training, equipment, coaching etc. Which yes, I'd obviously agree with that.
