This was announced a few months ago, but the change-over date was only a vague "before March 2023". Now, we have an official date and it's a lot sooner than that.
This is a big change for the Air Miles program. Safeway was one of the original Air Miles partners in Western Canada when the program launched in 1992.
I know a lot of people use their points to get Safeway vouchers. If this is you, make sure you do a final cash out before September 21 (the vouchers themselves won't expire). |
We heard about this awhile back. Not happy about it. It's nice getting $10 off every other week. I don't really care about movie theatre points. Times get tight and a free movie doesn't do anything useful. :|
