Sounds like Sammy called Kingston fat and Kingston laid his ass out. Sammy Guevara, the wrestler, is great. Sammy Guevara, the person, sure seems like a major piece of ####.

Like I said a while back, I find the story booking in AEW to be bad, now it didn't help that their money making main event guys were getting hurt, and nobody was really stepping into those slots.

I think this is part of it, but some of the builds to the PPV matches just seem totally undercooked. Why am I supposed to care about The Acclaimed (who I think are great) vs. Swerve in our Glory, when The Acclaimed have been involved in a feud with The Gunn Club for the past few months? I love Ricky Starks and think he's doing his best to sell this feud with Powerhouse Hobbs, but it's been given very little TV time.

Squashing Punk by Moxley is just kind of silly, and maybe its because Moxley isn't great. But whatever. Maybe they're trying to punish Punk for going against one of the AEW Originals that probably has more favor with the "EVPs". But Punk is a legitimate money maker, and a legitimate main event guy, I'm not sure that Moxley really is.

Ehhh...that's more you viewing it as a WWE fan, IMO. Mox is still crazy over with the AEW fanbase. From the sounds of it, they were going to do this match at the PPV, with the same result, because Punk still isn't totally cleared, but Mox lobbied to do it on TV instead. Ultimately, that's the better decision, because doing it at the PPV, Punk's hometown of Chicago would have been an absolute disaster. I just don't get why they would even bother with the match at all if Punk wasn't cleared.

I do think that AEW has to par down their roster, its too large and a few firings might re-establish that its an actual workplace. And also there's a lot of people that are just doing nothing.

Or lend out guys to NWA, Impact, NJPW, etc. They have these working agreements with other companies. Why aren't they using them? Send Andrade and Co. to Japan to start up a fun program with Naito that then trickles back to the U.S. and Mexico.
