I went to Pittsburgh last week and watched a couple games. First stadium I’ve been to aside from Rogers Centre and now I get it. Completely different experience. Bought second hand tickets for the first and third base lines about ten rows up against the Sox and Reds. Prices? $18 and $36 respectively (game against the Reds was more because of bobble head and Friday night I assume). Same seats at Rogers Centre are in the vicinity of $325 (no joke). Caught two balls. Families all over, and even the high seats didn’t feel as high as the Skydome. Food prices seem to be high at any stadium but the site lines and experience were night and day. They really do need to build a new outdoor building because it’s a massive difference. Even having light shine through the stadium when the sun is setting is such a nice sight to see on a summer day.
