The success of the team is based on the strength of the goaltending, defense, and entire forward group. The first line will be carried by Huberdeau and Lindholm, and the RW just needs to pot some goals. If Toffoli does not perform satisfactorily, others will be tried.

Not to mention there are quite a few successful teams who go with two grade A forwards on the top line plus a complementary guy who you wouldn't call an elite forward in an individual basis. TB had Kucherov and either Stamkos or Point on the top line, but the LW was Palat - a good player but not a household name.
