There are reasons to pick Tkachuk over Kadri, but scoring isn't one IMO. Tkachuk's numbers last years were vastly inflated by being able to play with Gaudreau.
Meanwhile Kadri was playing with Burakovsky and Nichushkin and still managed to score at a 32 goal pace.
Whoever plays with Huberdeau and Lindholm will see a pretty dramatic increase in their goals. If Kadri can also put up 30 goals from the second line, that basically covers any loss.
