I think Flames fans are tending to overrate Kadri's two-way ability. When you look at his career numbers he is under 50% on GF and xGF at the end of a season as often as he is over 50%. He also doesn't PK very much at all which is pretty uncommon for the best defensive centers in the league. I think the fact that he is physical/pesty makes some fans give him more credit defensively than he deserves.

That may be, but he is an intense competitor and a two center being inserted into Sutter's system that won Cups in LA. Sutter has always said that that Cup winning teams start down the middle. I think Kadri gets better under Sutter and I am not talking about more points.
