People value freedom and personal responsibility over government imposed restrictions and lockdowns, which I should mention Newsom didn't even follow himself.
Also, we are now starting to see more data on the long-term negative effects of the lockdowns, and it looks to be a hell of a lot worse than COVID ever was.
If Newsom wants to run on COVID policies, he'll lose in a landslide.
