I think these next few seasons should be exciting, but I'm not sure the trade-off is better. We likely have 2-3 seasons of going for it now which should be great, but that will likely be followed by a declining team and then a rebuild which could be a long time before we're good again. Or we could have rebuilt now, and I think in 3-5 years we would have been good again and that likely would have been followed by 5-7 years of a strong hockey team. Of course, if we win a cup in these next 3 years, I'm perfectly fine with a decade of sucking again.
