He failed to re-sign his 2 faces of the franchise after X many years of knowing he had to. Of course there were 10,000 factors stacked against him out of his control, but a true 'GM of the Year' would have had them locked up and this wouldn't have been an issue. I'm not downplaying the great reverse-uno card he has played, but the horrible rebuild (week) of sadness we had was at his doing. Hub is great, but Johnny and Tkachuk were our kids and walked on his watch.
