Kadri is a star player and a UFA, they don't typically come cheap plus Calgary has carries tax and location issues. Not sure what you were expecting for a guy that just ripped 87 points?

Kadri has been a star for exactly one season in the last 5 years. He has been very good defensively, but there will be a massive drop off, if not immediately.
