Of course, I could make a list of Flames who subsequently were just no good:

Smith, Russell, Dowd, Unger, Jalonen, Neal and (I suppose) Brossoit.

And players who became much better: Lucic, Talbot, Staios, Glencross, Smid, Steve Smith

Is it a coincidence that all that became better were ex Oilers?
