I want to say Gaudreau here too. I don't like how this ended, but for the time that he was here, he made watching Calgary Flames games more enjoyable as he was incredibly entertaining.

Least liked:
Marchment (RIP) - dirty player
Drury - didn't want to be here
Riseborough (I definitely liked him as a player, so not sure this counts)
Gauthier - dirty player
Shantz - I really don't know, but he always annoyed me
Dingman - useless all the time, even as a face-puncher
Fleury - himself first over the team
Niedermayer - traded too much for him
LeClerc - thought he was better than he really was, and punchable face
Mark Hunter - dirty player

Players like Hulse - they just weren't good. Not their fault they kept getting played. I thought they gave an honest effort, but were just over their heads. If this was a 'top 10 worst players in Flames' history", then this is where I would add him.

Gary Leeman I understand, but he fluked to a 50 goal season one year, and Riseborough got caught stat-watching. I think Leeman was a deer caught in headlights coming to Calgary. He was at the start of his decline already in Toronto by the looks of it, but he was destined to fail here with that amount of vitriol and pressure. I always felt sorry for him more than anything. Olcyk made him a star from what I vaguely remember as a kid, and Riseborough paid for him as if Leeman was the star in his prime, rather than the one giving up the star.
