As for the finale, that was a really great ending. I thought they nailed it, and I can't imagine it ending any other way after that honestly. It was realistic and the characters got what they deserved, but I thought the writers did right by them too. I'm sure it will be polarizing because it wasn't flashy, but I thought this was the only way this could all end. Hopefully it will grow to be more appreciated with time.
Loved all the callbacks to the first episode of the series and Jimmy and Kim's relationship ("It's showtime", Kim and Jimmy smoking against the wall, the finger guns at the end).
Bittersweet ending for Jimmy but he found some redemption and has some sort of relationship with Kim now, which is what he really wanted and missed for six years. She isn't going back to the yep guy, she's back in New Mexico.
Until Jimmy spoke at the trial, I was worried that he would continue to try and escape his sentence and remain completely selfish. I was very relieved after he changed his story in front of the judge.
Bringing Marie back was a big surprise, did not expect to see her at all.
