It's okay that people consider many factors when deciding where they want to live/work. My point in this is that I believe his wife did not want to live in Canada and that made this situation complex for Johnny. It seems he genuinely liked his time in Calgary, but his family/wife didn't want to continue doing so, and THAT'S OKAY.
Canada's response to the pandemic was vastly different from that of the US, and she's shared things that suggest she was very much not a fan of how Canada handled it. Heck, I'm not a fan of how Canada handled it. We should 100% still be masking right now.

Oh crap. I think I misread your original post. I don't actually care why you moved, I was getting all annoyed at what I percieved as you blaming his wife. Sounds a little more nuanced here. My bad.
