Why are you getting less for Coronato than the Flames got for Fox? In both cases you're talking about a player who has never played an NHL game but looks really good at the college level.
The principal difference is that Coronato was a first-round pick, so if he walks, the Flames get a compensatory pick in the second round. That actually puts a floor under his trade value. They are not trading him unless the value exceeds the compensation they would have received anyway.
