Is Russia even capable of attempting to invade Poland? They seem pretty maxed out in the Ukraine. They're going to need many years to replenish their troops and equipment to even make it across the border.
Invading Poland also would not be like invading south eastern Ukraine, where you have a large pro Russian population already. It's going to take far more standing army to pacify any single Polish city.
