This just isn’t true for our first and second lines.
Huberdeau was 3rd in scoring, Lindholm was 29th. How does that constitute a second line?
Toffoli, Mangiapane, And Backlund both easily have second line production, well within the top 180 of forwards that would be a “second line production”.
And if you look at 5v5 production Coleman is easily in that range too, he just doesn’t play PP so his total counting numbers are lower. He was a top 6 forward on a team that won back to back cups.
The bottom 6 could use a bit more depth though for sure…some pieces are there though if Monahan and Dube can find some finishing skills, and Pelletier and Ruzicka continue to grow.
