Yes, they are one of the most right-wing media in Canada. The Sun is just one of the properties owned by Postmedia, which owns almost every English-language newspaper in the country other than the
Toronto Star and
The Globe & Mail.
And yes, absolutely they receive government funding. Millions every year in subsidies.
