Han says some good things in his analysis, I think he’s missed on a few things though:
- Huberdeau played most of his minutes with Bennett, not Barkov (only 24% of his Even Strength TOI and 37% of his Even Strength production was with Barkov)
- He’s assuming Toffoli will be the 1RW but right now I’m learning towards Mangiapane in that spot
- Lindholm can carry the puck IMO, it’s just that he’s rarely had to with a special talent like Gaudreau on his wing. If Mangiapane or Toffoli struggle in that RW spot I wonder if Phillips gets a long look there
I really can’t see a 40-50 point drop off in Huby’s point totals this year, that’s ridiculous. Especially if he receives the same guidance Sutter gave Gaudreau.
