I wouldn't be so quick to give up FLA's #1. Anyone know how a lottery pick is defined?
If FLA misses the playoffs in 2025, is that pick a lottery pick? If so, then they keep it and CGY gets FLA's 2026 pick - lottery or not.
I can see FLA missing the playoffs in either '25 or '26 - that is a hard division and conference.
