The fact the Flames have Huberdeau locked up just makes this a massive win especially when you consider the lack of leverage Treliving had in the negotiation. Works out very well for the Flames to find a team who was willing to shake it up the way they did.
I hope the Panthers hit a rough patch in 25 and 26 so the Flames can add another key piece in the draft. I believe the Flames will get Weegar signed and let’s see what Schwindt turns into.
Just an incredible deal all things considered. Glad Chucky really wanted to go to Florida.
