although definitely your main premise still stands but may have involved an even shadier bus trip
I had the opportunity to shoot for a car (from the far blueline into one of those holes 2 pucks wide) as a 15 year old a few months away from getting my driver's licence- not even sure that made me eligible to play, but it was the 80s..one time when I was at a Wranglers game by myself (my buddies worked there and I would just go hang out). spoiler ...I did not win the car
