It hasn't even been two weeks since the trade and the players haven't even come to Calgary yet.
As others have already pointed out, Lindholm wasn't signed until 3 weeks after the trade in 2018 and Hanifin was more than 2 months after. Lindholm's was signed with a pending arbitration date and both players were unsigned RFAs at the time of the trade, so there was much more urgency to get those deals done.
Even if things are progressing well on extensions, I suspect nothing will be announced until the player is in town later this month at the earliest.
