There were several 2nd and long situations that Winnipeg was able to convert and that along with Winnipeg opening holes for Oliveira to run through were the reasons the Bombers were victorious. Also, if the Stamps could have turned those FGs into TDs in the opening quarter, it could have made a big difference in the final outcome.
Bo averaged only 200 yards passing with 1 TD pass in two games. That kind of production from your QB will get you beat nearly every game in the CFL against any opponent. The reason they moved the ball effectively was because of the running game that was stellar in both games. The best thing you can say about Bo's play over the two games was that he only had the one turnover. Also to be fair the WR's have not always been consistent as Jorden sunk them in the 1st matchup and in the 2nd game Begelton only caught 5/10 passes thrown his way which also isn't good enough.

Yeah this team has a real difficult time getting into the end zone via the passing game but this has been a problem for years. Common denominator is the guy calling the plays. Dave is a good coach so it's kind of disappointing that he can't get this figured out.
