my truck is lifted 7.5" and sits on 35" tires. the tailgate is only 39" off the ground! (yes... i went and measured it!) it's a great height - no need to bend down when getting things out of the box!
as for stuff sliding to the front of the box - yea... that is annoying, but that's why i made a divider for my truck....
there's lots of stuff that is too big to use the divider with and that's fine - i keep a hockey stick in the back of my truck to help pull things from the front of the bed to the back of the bed. it's also great to have with you if you happen to come across a game of road hockey and they are short a guy! |
I keep skates in the toolbox too. Never know when you're gonna drive by a rink and the mood just grabs ya
