Listen, I get the complaints and people bringing up their preferences, but as a professional nameologist, I can tell you that the current thread title is far and away the best one, and ever other one mentioned ranks anywhere from off topic and pointless to exceedingly juvenile to the point that it actually makes us look bad. This includes, “Why So Pissy,” which makes no sense at all.
Now, some of you may say “nameologist” is not a “real” profession. But I just have to say this: tell it to the Department of Nameology at Harvard, at which I got my doctorate and at which I now teach the next generation of young people who are determined to ensure everything, from new discoveries and innovations to new films and songs, have the most correct name. I do this for the love of nameology, as I am rich beyond your wildest dreams thanks to my decade of work as the premier nameologist in corporate America (changing Facebook to Meta? Yeah, you’re welcome). With the freedom to do what I desire, I shape the next generation. It pleases me to no end to challenge the thinking of my students and push them to explore issues of nameology deeper, and there is nothing more rewarding than when I see a student get hired by Crayola and say “No, that is not just brown, it is… Leather Glove.” Nameology, you see, is both art and science. So judge me if you will, but “Up and Down Like a Toilet Seat” is the one true name.
